Service Update:
C3 Service – Wed 22 July to Fri 21 August 2026
Due to gas supply roadworks on Fairmile Lane in Cobham, the C3 service may have difficulty reaching Audley Fairmile between 22 July and 21 Aug 2026. Information is vague regarding the disruption expected but we will try to maintain the service. However, if the road is closed we may have to suspend that part of service. The section of Fairmile Lane affected is between the Green Lane junction and the Fairacres junction. Please speak to the driver to find out the current situation on your day of travel.
This only affects the Weekday C3 service.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Your community-run bus service for the Cobham area
Chatterbus provides a reliable, friendly service that’s there when it’s needed. It is a unique not-for-profit service, managed by local people for the local community and is operated by the East Surrey Rural Transport Partnership under contract to Chatterbus CIO (charity no. 1173907).
Chatterbus C1, C2 & C3 routes
The Chatterbus East-West service between Cobham and Weybridge (plus Fetcham and Leatherhead on Saturdays) plugs a significant gap in the local transport system and complements other local bus services.

Our Local Sponsors
Chatterbus could not run without the help of our four Principle Sponsors – Elmbridge Borough Council, Surrey County Council, Chelsea FC Foundation, Walton Charity and PA Housing. We are also very grateful to our fantastic Sponsors Co-op, Levanter Developments, Grosvenor Billinghurst, NFU Mutual, Specsavers, South West Railway and Waitrose.
And we owe a great debt to all the local organisations and bodies whose donations help us to run this important service – Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust, Cobham and Downside Residents Association, Cobham Chamber of Commerce, Cobham Garden Club, St Andrew’s Church – Cobham, St Mary’s Church – Stoke D’Abernon, Stoke D’Abernon Residents Association.
