Update Saturday 4th April 2020

The weekly C1 Chatterbus and the C2 Saturday service are both suspended until further notice due to the Coronavirus pandemic. 

We would like to thank our valiant drivers and our hugely supportive passengers who have kept with us during this difficult time.

We will keep this under review and resume the service as soon as we possibly can.

Update Saturday 28th March 2020

The weekly C1 Chatterbus service continues to be suspended but we are pleased to say we were able to run the C2 Saturday service today (28th March 2020) as normal. We will update this page when we can confirm when our next C1 (Weekly) or C2 (Saturday) service will run. 

Both the C1 and C2 are under constant review and we will endeavour to run the Chatterbus where we can for those who need to travel so they can collect essential food, medical supplies or are a key worker as defined by the UK government. Click here to see government guidance.

Thank you for the many messages of support from our loyal passengers. Here is a small selection of those recently received.

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear all your drivers are poorly. They are such kind, caring people and we truly send our very best wishes to them.

Please don’t think you are letting anyone down. You are possibly poorly because you are all such thoughtful people going out of your way to help everyone. As you say, these are truly extraordinary and difficult times.

Can I just take the opportunity to say thank you to all the Chatterbus drivers for the service they give us and I wish them all well

Regrettably, the Chatterbus Service has had to be Suspended 

The Chatterbus has been battling to continue to run its bus service over the last few weeks despite the challenges of the Coronavirus epidemic.

This week has been especially difficult and unfortunately, we have now had to take the decision to suspend the Chatterbus Service for the time being. 

We would like to thank our valiant drivers and our hugely supportive passengers who have kept with us during this difficult time.

We will resume the service as soon as we possibly can but in the meantime, please revisit our website for the latest details or subscribe to our email newsletter so we can keep you informed when the service will be able to resume.

Weekly Season Tickets Refunds

Passengers who purchased a weekly season ticket on Mon 23rd March 2020 will be able to claim a full refund. Claims should be emailed to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. including a photo of your weekly ticket and your name and address. For those weekly tickets paid for using a credit/debit card or mobile phone, your account will be reimbursed directly to your card. For those who have paid using cash, we will need your bank details to enable us to provide your refund directly to your bank.

Once again we apologise for the disruption to our service but we hope you will understand that we have had little choice.
